Reflecting Together combines research on the current state of single people in the community, the Writings on marriage and courtship, personal & small-group reflections about personality-types / investigation of character / role of consultation / dating practice, and an experiment in “rapid character investigation,” and has begun to try out the session –with communities of young people.

Individually we have been studying the Bahai Writings, marriage education and how the community can help facilitate and sustain healthy relationships.  Some of the fruit of this research is in the attached document: “Understanding Single Baha’is” co-written by David Diehl and Kamilla Babahani.   The group is a mix of married and single Baha’is, men and women, who have presented papers, sessions and workshops at conferences including the ABS, Insights and NEBY.

The session was facilitated by David, Erica, Ron and Anna Shigeta and Brett Gamboa, in  Boston, MA and presents a unique opportunity for single Baha’is to benefit from these friends who are coming into the area in support of the project. I can assure you that these are special people who know a lot about the subjects. What is more, we need you, since we hope to learn together about your experiences as single Baha’is and how we all can create a community conducive to happy relationships.
